Annual Dinner 年度大餐

All the employee of Patimas Computer Bhd have once again planned a night of dinner and dancing to celebrate Annual Dinner.

The 2008 Annual’s Dinner is in its Twenty Two year and will be Jan. 18 at Equatorial Hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

Mary Williams, managing director for Patimas, said this is a fun event and it’s only organise for all our Patimas's employees.

“This is a really one year once event,” she said. “As a matter of fact, a large majority of the people who have join in past 15 years already, now still sit between us."
The evening will begin with a reception at 6 p.m., followed with dinner at 7 p.m. There will be a live performance at 8 p.m. and lucky draw from 9 p.m. to midnight with music by the Wright Brothers.

“We have some really exciting lucky draw items this year,” Williams said. “We have 42' LG LCD and HP Notebook for Lucky Draw.”

The 2007 Most Sweety words Award awarded to Jeff Lim, our VP on Sales and Marketing.

“We have approximately 250 employees, mostly ladies,” he said. “And we are hoping to get more guy to come join our family. So it will more equal and match.”

In between, they aso playing few type of game like guessing song, dancing queen, it is a lot of fun.

This the vacuum cleaner i get from lucky draw during in the dinner, Yeap...i'm quite lucky with this number,78. It very useful to me, because I need to clean my room since CNY is coming soon.

Primary School Gathering 小学同学会

It has been almost 2 years since I last met some of my primary school best friends. They are still as pinky and princessy as before. We turned up in a casual wear but only one guy wear in formal. Our dress sense has always been quite different I guess. Shit colours are more for me.

We met up at Utara Cafe @ Armada Hotel for buffer dinner at night. Despite not meeting for a few years, the distant feeling was absent. We could still talk to each other like before and we managed to summaries our happenings of the recent years in the almost three hours of dinner. After we were done with our food, it's the usual photo-taking session after everyone is full.




Notice that none of the photos has both of us in funny faces? Apparently, the one taking the photo would concentrate on taking the photo and forgot to make the funny face. After taking more than a dozen of unsatisfactory neoprints, we decided to get a cup to handle my camera to take a final good picture for us. Do our face still same when we are still young? I managed to dig out some old pictures of us.

The dresses should give some hint I guess. When we were young, parents always like to dress us up in similar dresses though the colour can differ slightly. Or maybe the kids like it too. And the dumb hairstyle cut by our mums. Gross man. By the way, the picture was taken sixteen years ago!!!!!!!!!! We were nine years old (Primary 3). Really missed the days when we have the occasional outings. hee...

17 years of friendship!!!!!! OMG!!!! I feel so old suddenly. Old pal, we must meet up again soon k? Don't wait for another 3 years ah. Maybe we can do something for our 20th anniversary. hee..
