"CJ7" is a comedy about a poor laborer father played by Stephen Chow and his young son. When a fascinating and strange new pet enters their lives, they learn a poignant lesson about the true nature of family and the things money can't buy.

Here some info about Stephen Chow Sing Chi, He occupation as a Scriptwriter, Film Director,and Actor and most important is his birthday on 22 June 1962. He is graduate of Shaw Brothers TVB acting school. His first movie was Final Justice in 1988.

Stephen Chow started the filming of his latest feature, CJ7, in the eastern Chinese port of Ningbo.

Rumour has it that CJ7 has the biggest budget ever for a Chinese film, costing over 100 million Chinese Yuan (US$13 million; €10.2 million)

The movie given the title CJ7 (Chang Jiang qi hao), a play on China''s successful Shenzhou manned space missions - Shenzhou 5 and Shenzhou 6.

Prior to its official naming of CJ7 in August 2007, the movie was known by a series of working titles including Alien, Yangtze River VII, Long River 7 and most notably, A Hope.

CJ7 introduces newcomer Zhang Yu Qi as Chow¡¯s romantic lead, continuing Chow''s tradition of introducing young female actresses who eventually go on to have successful film or music careers of their own.
